This six-month long course is for parents interested in living with greater presence and mindfulness, both in their professional lives, and in relationship to their children.
As the pace of our lives quickens, it is harder than ever to give the quality of attention we would like to our children. It is easy to caught up in the activities of life - emails, phone calls, meetings - such that we are never quite present for our children, and then wake up one day and realize that our children are all grown up, and the time we had to engage with them as kids is gone.
This course is for parents committed to living engaged in all aspects of life, including parenting. We will explore:
"How do we live more present for ourselves and our children, and embody the qualities we would most like to pass down to our children?"
We will do this through mindfulness practices, embodiment techniques, engagement tools, and group dialogue. We will have:
1) Monthly in-person meetings in the Bay area for three hours
2) Online discussions
3) A monthly phone call.
There will also be books to read and practices integrated throughout the year. The course is for people who are passionate about transforming and bringing wisdom-based principles to the work environment. Limited to 15 people.
Cost: $1,600 for the six-month course.
Location: San Francisco Bay area (Space to be determined)
