Monday Intensives

Registering for a Monday intensive will give you access to spending the day in deep exploration of a single topic with others in the Wisdom 2.0 community. You can choose from one of the following intensives:

Wisdom and Children, Family, & Parenting
For people interested in youth, parenting, and education. We will look at the impact technology is having on children, both in families and our educational systems, and how we can harness this in positive ways.

Wisdom and Women
For those interested in exploring the role of women in bringing forth more wisdom and compassion into our modern culture. How will having more feminine leadership impact society and technology? How does the digital age impact women in their various roles as leaders, mothers, friends, employees, and partners? This intensive will build on the themes of community building, collaboration, and celebration using movement, meditation, connecting exercises and teachings.

Wisdom and Technology
For those interested in the creation of wisdom-based technologies, from apps to wearable items. We will explore how to develop or support technologies that focus on deeper mindfulness, wisdom, and compassion. Where are we today, what's on the horizon that's exciting and innovative, and how can we support those efforts?

Wisdom and the Elder Years
For people interested in using their aging years for both inner development and service. We will inquire into how we use this time, including the technologies of our age, to deepen our own sense of self and connection to those around us. We will explore new ideas around how we live together, create together, and care for each other and the world. What does it mean to become an Elder?

Wisdom and Business Life
For those excited about transforming their work life and business culture in ways that benefit themselves and their companies. The nature of business is changing radically, and many of the old ways of working and communicating no longer serve us, or the companies with which we work. Together, we'll explore how best to bring greater mindfulness to our work.

From your feedback, we have made some changes for 2014 we think you will enjoy.

 

• We have a New Venue, and we are happy to announce that the main stage will be much closer to the audience.
   

• Bigger Break Out Areas. More of you will be able to join and comfortably fit this year!
   

• More space for Hosted Conversations, which for many people was one of the big highlights.
   

• Larger Lounges where people can relax and converse. This met a big need for people to connect with others.
   

• More Viewing Rooms, so people can watch the sessions in small areas and not just the large hall.
   

• Hotel Venue allows for out-of-town attendees to stay and participate more easily. No need to take cabs to and from the venue. We'll make sure the heat is on!
   

• This year Lunches are included in every ticket! You can more easily connect with other participants at meals

Ticket Prices

All tickets include lunch Saturday and Sunday.

• $649      Super Early Bird + Monday Intensive
• $825      Early Bird + Monday Intensive
• $999      Regular Ticket
• $1,149   Regular Ticket + Monday Intensive
• $1,500   Late Registration Ticket + Monday Intensive
• $2,999   Supporter Ticket (Invite to Supporters Dinner; Provide Scholarship Fund Support)

CANCELLATION POLICY:

If you need to cancel for any reason you must notify us by Monday, January 13th, 2014 for a refund.
Tickets cancelled before October 14th, 2013 will receive a refund less 25% of your purchased ticket price; tickets cancelled between October 14th and January 13th will receive a refund less 50% of your purchased ticket price. If you need to transfer your ticket to someone else, you must do so by January 13th; there will be a $60 transfer processing fee. Cancellations and transfer requests must be in writing, preferably by email: info@wisdom2conference.com.

After January 13th, 2014, all tickets are non-refundable and non-transferable.

We cannot issue partial-refunds or support partial-ticket-swaps of any kind.

In the unlikely event that the conference is cancelled, we will refund all tickets. We will not, however, be able to refund flight, hotel, or other purchases people may make. All listed speakers are confirmed -- however, sometimes life events such as sickness or death in the family prevent them from making it at the last minute.

Purchase of a ticket indicates that you have read and agree to comply with this cancellation policy. This policy is subject to change; all registered attendees will be notified of any changes.

Ticket Types

Choose between three ticket types:

• Main Conference Only
• Main Conference + Monday Intensive, and
• Supporter Ticket

Main Conference

The main conference runs Friday at 1pm through Sunday at 5pm, February 14th - 16th.

Main Conference + Monday Intensive

On Monday the 17th there will be a series of intensives. To see a list of them, click the Intensive tab above. You will have a choice of which one to attend while registering.

Supporter Ticket

With this ticket, you are invited to a Supporter’s dinner and will be supporting our scholarship fund. This ticket does include the Monday Intensive.

Ticket Limit

You can purchase up to 3 tickets and need to know the names of each person you are registering. There are a limited number of tickets at each price, so we recommend you purchase your tickets early for the discount.
