Attendee-led topical dinner parties on the evening of Thursday April 7th, 2022. Open to all Wisdom 2.0 2022 attendees!

Our Birds of a Feather dinner program is vital to the cultivation of our community!

On Thursday evening, we're encouraging conference participants to host dinner parties for other attendees, to explore a topic that is most alive and engaging for you. These dinners are aimed to engage with your fellow participants in conversation while cultivating connection and community at Wisdom 2.0.

Interested in attending a Birds of a Feather dinner?

  • Birds of a Feather dinners will be hosted at various restaurants in the Mountain View area. Please see the description for specific time & location information, and click the button under each session to read the full details of each dinner.

  • All dinners are on Thursday April 7th, 2022.

  • Sign up to attend a dinner by adding your name and contact information on the open-access Google Docs linked below.

  • Your dinner host will be responsible for communicating any changes/updates to those who have signed up. If you have specific questions about the dinner, please reach out to the host directly. These are fully attendee-led events!

  • Please do not share these sign-ups sheets with those who are not attending Wisdom 2.0 2022. These events are exclusively available for registered conference attendees.

  • All attendees are responsible for paying for their meal - hosts do not cover the costs, nor does Wisdom 2.0.

  • One Emergent Conversation

    After settling in with our food and each other, we will have an hour long “Emergent Conversation” where we are in ONE conversation that is focused on what is alive and present for each of us, between us, among us.

  • Childhood's Dreams

    Share a recollection or dream or feeling from your childhood that you wish to summon into your present and future. Or just take a moment to reminisce and share something that made you happy and allow that feeling to be shared in conversation. Let’s get to know one another through the lens of our childhood dreams.

  • What's Next for Compassion in Leadership?

    Together let's explore the principles and practices that compassionate leaders need for the rapidly changing organizational environment of this hybrid world. Join us in lively discussion around best practices for the future of compassionate leadership.

  • The Gratitude Story. What’s yours?

    As we round out two years of being in the pandemic, what is getting you through it? Is it a daily ritual, a memory, a future event, or are you comfortable just being? What spark keeps your fire burning or the music playing in you? Who or what do you need to thank? Talk to us.

  • Conspiring for Compassion

    Con-spire = Breathe Together. Should our personal meditation practice intersect with the socio-economic-political world? How? How do act with inclusivity, compassion, wisdom so as not to deepen divides? Is a few minutes of mindfulness just 'mindfulness-washing'? Can it have an impact?

  • Reimagine Happiness

    A "listening circle" discussion on how we can shift the stories we tell ourselves to a new narrative that allows us to reimagine and rewrite our story and journey of happiness - whether it is as a business leader envisioning a company's future or an individual working on his/her own personal inner dialogue. The "constellation" of this narrative experience is the same using food as a mode of discussion to reimagine the dishes that arrive on the table...how can we shift our biases and belief about our "dish" (story) and the "dishes" (stories) of others in a non-judgmental way to create a culture of compassion and not of competition; to build a culture of understanding and not of undermining; to nurture a culture of collaboration and not isolation.

  • Technology, Education & Contemplation Conclave

    How can we help schools mindfully integrate technology into their curricula to everyone's satisfaction? Not just as a tool to enhance academic studies, but as an everlasting part of an integrated, fulfilling life? We invite technologists, educators, and contemplative practitioners to grapple with these questions and discuss the the various approaches we use to cultivate healthy relationships with each other, ourselves, and our devices in the 21st century context.

  • Conscious Leadership: Innovating & Upending

    As conscious leaders, we often are called to dismantle harmful, inequitable, and outdated systems and to challenge assumptions about the structures of the organizations or industries in which we work. Whether it's a new way of structuring teams, compensation, hierarchical systems, or the workweek, what are the challenges and successes you've experienced?…
